Gallery Host, Denver Art Museum2020-07

In July 2015 I started my retirement employment at the Denver Art Museum as a Gallery Host. It was my dream job, the best job that I had in my entire life. This beautifully carved wooden horse was made during the Chinese Han dynasty, years 202 BC to 220 CE. This carving has been displayed on the Asian floor at the Art Museum until 2017, when the Ponti designed building was closed for remodeling.
