Another cold and blustery Irish day. I drove Cathy and her cousins, Margaret and Patricia to Kilkenny Castle to see it’s beautiful design center. I was hoping for a bright calm day were I could set up in the middle of park’s greens' and paint the U shaped castle. The weather was not cooperative so I set up in the shelter of some bare trees for a wind and rain block. I couldn't paint the grand scale of the castle but I was able to paint the round stoutness of one of the corner towers.
