This chapter is a collection of fourteen hikes in the southern part of Capitol Reef National Park.
Access to most of these hikes is via the partly paved, partly dirt Notom/Bullfrog road. It is a county maintained road and usually in good condition but rain can make it impassable at times. An updated road conditions report is available at the Visitor Center. Check in person or by phone at 435-425-3791.
VABM Bitter is the most strenuous of this group.
